The Park - Layout
The park was laid out in such a fashion that many of the
'runs' were intended that you start at the top and finish at the bottom (sort
of), although going in anywhere worked just fine with the exception of the
snake run. The park consisted of:
1) Long Snake Run named "The Grand Canyon Run". The 430' advanced
serpentine, cut like a bobsled course through seven bends of up to 13 1/2 ' in
height.
2) Torpedo shaped 1/2 pipe/bowl named "The Whale Bowl". A 30' by 80'
Bowl with walls varying from 45 degrees to vertical
3) Series of 2 mogul runs, each ending in a bowl with one being larger than the
other. Named the "Spaghetti Run" and "Wallos", they were
125' and 120' in length respectively.
4) Flat free-style area. The free-style area, while planned until the
construction, was never built.
5) Slalom run. Like the free-style area, the slalom was planned until the
construction but never built.
